YAWU ADVENTURES
BUILT AROUND
SHARED EXPERIENCE
Who we are.
YAWU Adventures is an independent adventure organisation and community built around shared interests, uncommon experiences and exploration.
We bring together people, places and specialist capability to create journeys that are often difficult to access through conventional travel.
Some experiences include specialist instruction or disciplines with professional or military origins. YAWU itself is not a military unit, paramilitary organisation or tactical training organisation.
Where specialist instruction is involved, we work with appropriately qualified independent providers and applicable legal requirements.
More than
the activity.
An aircraft, a dive site, a range or a destination may be what first brings people together. What lasts is often something different — the friendships, shared stories and connections created along the way.
YAWU is built around those shared experiences.
OUR STORY
From Paratus
to YAWU.
YAWU Adventures was formerly known as Paratus Adventure.
In 2022, Paratus Adventure became YAWU Adventures, marking the next stage of a community that had already grown through years of shared journeys and experiences.
Some of our earlier photographs, uniforms and materials therefore still carry the Paratus name. They are part of the same history and the community that became YAWU today.
HOW WE WORK
Something worth doing.
People to make it real.
IDEA
Something worth doing.
PEOPLE
A community that shares the interest.
PARTNERS
The capability, expertise, facilities and local knowledge required.
EXPERIENCE
Bring the elements together and make it real.
We start with something worth doing, identify the people and partners who can make it possible, and build the experience around them.
